The Chicago Bears and Seattle Seahawks meet Friday night at CenturyLink Field for preseason action.
The Chicago Bears are 2-0 in the preseason with their most recent victory coming against the Jacksonville Jaguars, 20-19. Despite the Bears trailing 13-0 after the first quarter, they scored the only 13 points in the fourth quarter to win in the final minute. Jay Cutler completed seven of nine passes for 75 yards and a touchdown, while Jimmy Clausen completed 11 of 15 passes for 94 yards and an interception. Another Chicago player who continues to impress is rookie running back Ka'Deem Carey, who had 36 rushing yards and a touchdown. The Chicago Bears finished the game with 312 yards and scored on all three red zone trips. Defensively, the Bears allowed 393 yards and just three points in the second half. Sherrick McManis led the Bears with six tackles and C.J. Wilson had an interception.

The Seattle Seahawks improved to 1-1 in the preseason with a 41-14 win over the San Diego Chargers. It didn’t take long for the Seahawks to put the game away, as they had a 24-0 lead towards the end of the second quarter. Russell Wilson completed 11 of 13 passes for 121 yards, while running back Robert Turbin stole the show with 81 rushing yards and a touchdown. Wilson had two rushing touchdowns to total the Seahawks five rushing touchdowns in the victory. The Seahawks have focused heavily on the running game, rushing the ball 66 times in two games. Overall, the Seahawks finished the game with 403 yards and scored on all four red zone trips. Defensively, the Seattle Seahawks allowed 238 yards and just two red zone trips. Steven Terrell led Seattle with eight tackles and the Seahawks sacked the quarterback five times.
While the starters for both teams are going to see a lot more of the action, it's still a preseason game at the end of the day. And with that being said, I can't turn down the amount of points the Chicago Bears are getting.
