The New Orleans Saints and Indianapolis Colts play preseason football Saturday night at Lucas Oil Stadium.
The New Orleans Saints are 2-0 in the preseason with their most recent win coming over the Tennessee Titans, 31-24. Drew Brees has yet to play in the preseason, as Ryan Griffin and Luke McCown continue to get majority of the reps in the first two games. Griffin and McCown combined for four touchdown passes and close to 300 passing yards in the most recent game. Tight end Jimmy Graham seems to be in regular season mode after catching five passes for 48 yards and two touchdowns, and wide receiver Joseph Morgan topped 100 receiving yards. Overall, the New Orleans Saints had 399 yards and were 3-4 in the red zone. Defensively, the Saints allowed 412 yards and forced five turnovers. Kyle Knox led the Saints with six tackles and Vinnie Sunseri had an interception.

The Indianapolis Colts are 0-2 in the preseason after losing to the New York Giants, 27-26. Crazy enough, the Colts had a 26-0 lead in that game before blowing it in the fourth quarter. Andrew Luck completed 12 of 18 passes for 89 yards a touchdown, while Matt Hasselbeck was four of eight for 39 yards and a touchdown. The main concern for the Indianapolis Colts is their lack of running game, as they managed just 75 yards on 30 carries. The Colts finished last season ranked 21st in rushing yards. Overall, the Colts finished the game with 304 yards and scored on two of their three red zone trips. Defensively, the Colts allowed 305 yards and 27 points in the fourth quarter. Andrew Jackson led the Colts with six tackles and D'Qwell Jackson had the team’s only sack.
You don’t know what to expect from the Saints and whether Drew Brees will play or not. And although it is just another preseason game, you have to believe the Colts will be out to redeem themselves after blowing such a gigantic lead.
Give me the Colts to cover the small chalk at home.
