The Philadelphia Eagles and Indianapolis Colts will play a Monday night football matchup at Lucas Oil Stadium.

The Philadelphia Eagles struggled out of the gate against the Jacksonville Jaguars but scored 34 unanswered points and won, 34-17. Nick Foles had a solid game with 322 yards and a couple of touchdown passes, while a backfield of LeSean McCoy and Darren Sproles averaged 4.5 yards per carry. Foles, however, did turn the ball over three times, which is starting to become a habit considering he was a turnover machine in the preseason as well. Overall, the Eagles showed their explosiveness by racking up 420 yards in a short amount of time and scoring 20 points in the fourth quarter. Defensively, the Philadelphia Eagles allowed 306 yards and held the Jags to 2-14 on third down. Brandon Graham had two tackles for loss, while Mychal Kendricks led the Eagles with six solo tackles.

Indianapolis Colts vs. Philadelphia Eagles - 9/15/14 NFL Pick and Odds

USA TODAY Sports

The Indianapolis Colts fell short in their comeback against the Denver Broncos, losing, 31-24. The Colts got off to a very slow start, not scoring a touchdown until the final seconds of the second quarter, but gave themselves a chance to win late by scoring 14 fourth quarter points. Andrew Luck finished the game with 370 passing yards and two touchdowns, while Reggie Wayne had 98 receiving yards on nine catches in his first game back from injury. However, running the ball remains the Colts main concern, as they averaged just three yards per carry, and Luck was the second leading rusher with 19 yards. Defensively, the Indianapolis Colts allowed 361 yards and 5.2 yards per play. LaRon Landry led the Colts with eight tackles and Erik Walden picked up the team’s only sack.

Can the Colts keep up with the Eagles explosive offense with absolutely no running game? I’m not willing to bet it. I’d gladly take Philly and the points, as I think the Eagles win this game SU.
