NFL Updates: News From Around the League, Schedule and More
September 20, 2014
Week 3 is just one day away in the NFL, and the anticipation is running pretty high. Before we get back to waiting, let’s kill some time by taking our daily look around the league and checking out some of the notable players out there making headlines.
Dolphins RB Knowshon Moreno has officially been ruled out for tomorrow’s game against Kansas City. He heads up a very lengthy injury list for that game.

Ryan Mathews of the Chargers is out tomorrow, as expected. Melvin Ingram will miss the game as well due to a hamstring issue. Keenan Allen is questionable.
Texans WR Andre Johnson looks like he’ll be good to go for tomorrow’s game against the Giants. He’s listed as probable with an ankle injury. He’s posted 12 grabs for 167 yards so far but hasn’t found the end zone yet.
Both Rob Gronkowski and Julian Edelman are probable for tomorrow’s home game against Oakland. They’ve been the biggest contributors in the passing game thus far and are invaluable assets on the field.
Browns TE Jordan Cameron is questionable for tomorrow against Baltimore. He’s the only Cleveland player with that designation besides Barkevious Mingo, who has a shoulder injury as well.
The Saints’ Mark Ingram has been ruled out of action for tomorrow, as expected. He probably won’t see the field for another month or so. Joining him as inactive for Week 3 are Erik Lorig, Marcus Ball and David Hawthorne.
Lions RB Joique Bell practiced yesterday, but he was limited due to a knee injury. He’s expected to be ready to go by tomorrow, however, for a key game against the Packers.
Bad news for the Cowboys (as if they needed more bad news). No. 1 WR Dez Bryant was limited in both Thursday and Friday’s practice sessions, and will be questionable heading into tomorrow’s game against the Rams. Joining him with that designation are Joseph Randle and Gavin Escobar.
