The Titans look to shake off a sloppy loss against the Cowboys last weekend as they head into Cincinnati to take on the red hot Bengals.
The Titans were picked by many to be a dark horse in the AFC this season and while they looked the part in their season opener against the Chiefs they laid an egg last weekend in their home opener against Dallas in which their offense was completely shut down. Now, the Titans head into Cincy to take on one of the league’s best defenses and it looks as though they’ll have to contend with AJ Green after all as it looks like the former Georgia Bulldog is going to play despite suffering from turf toe. The Titans have some weapons on offense led by Jake Locker behind centre but if they’re going to find success here against the Bengals they need to get Bishop Sankey and Shonn Greene going on the ground as the pass protection of the Stripes is lethal and should keep Locker in check. This is a huge game for both sides as the Titans can make a move in the AFC South with a win while the Bengals can assert themselves as the team to beat not only in the AFC North but in Conference in its entirety.

The Bengals continue to prove that they are worthy of Super Bowl discussion as they waxed the Atlanta Falcons last weekend and as we saw on Thursday the Falcons can score with the best of them despite having to play on the road in Cincinnati last weekend. The Bengals are loaded all over the field and seem to have their personnel clicking with the players which is always a sign of a championship roster and while some may not believe in Andy Dalton the team sure does and that is the only thing that matters. Cincy will look to move to 3-0 and as a favourite by a touchdown it is clear that the odds makers believe this team is for real and they believe the hype. While Tennessee is still likely to do some damage this season I just don’t see it here as I think the Bengals will keep Tennessee’s offense quiet and despite AJ Green not being 100% he should get some red zone looks and that is more than enough for me to lay the seven points with the home side.
