The Oakland Raiders and Cleveland Browns square off Sunday at FirstEnergy Stadium.
The Oakland Raiders have yet to win a game this season and will play their first road game of the year. No matter how you slice it, the Raiders are a very, very bad football team. The Raiders ground game is averaging just 3.7 yards per carry and Darren McFadden is the only player with more than 100 rushing yards. Last week, McFadden gave the Raiders just their second rushing touchdown of the season. Derek Carr is completing 60.5 percent of his passes for eight touchdowns and five interceptions, and he’s thrown four touchdowns and one interception in his last two games. The Raiders have just 11 passing plays of 20 or more yards, and James Jones leads Oakland with 363 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Andre Holmes has caught all three of his touchdowns the last three weeks and has 155 receiving yards in his last two games. Defensively, the Oakland Raiders are allowing 26.3 points, 374.8 yards, and they’ve forced six turnovers and six sacks. Charles Woodson has 39 tackles and Khalil Mack has seven tackles for loss.

The Cleveland Browns fell to 3-3 after losing to the lonely Jacksonville Jaguars. The Browns offense is a lot better than expected with a running back tandem made up of Ben Tate, Isaiah Crowell and Terrance West. The Browns are averaging 41. yards per carry and have eight rushing touchdowns. Brian Hoyer is completing 55.8 percent of his passes for seven touchdowns and two interceptions. In his last two games, Hoyer has one touchdown and one interception, and you may start to hear rumblings for Johnny Manziel. Andrew Hawkins leads the Browns with 382 receiving yards and four different players have at least four receptions of 20 or more yards. Defensively, the Cleveland Browns are allowing 23.2 points, 397 yards, and they’ve forced eight turnovers and 12 sacks. Karlos Dansby leads the Browns with 48 tackles and Tashaun Gipson has five pass deflections.
The Raiders are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 road games and 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games overall. The Browns are 1-5-1 ATS vs. a team with a losing record and 3-1-2 ATS in their last 6 games overall. The Raiders are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 meetings.
If the Cleveland Browns just lost to the Jacksonville Jaguars SU, why can't the same happen against the Raiders? This is one of those games you probably want to avoid, but if you need action, taking the points is probably your best bet.
