The Indianapolis Colts and Pittsburgh Steelers square off Sunday at Heinz Field.
The Indianapolis Colts have won five straight and have separated themselves as one of the better teams in the AFC. The reason behind the success is Andrew Luck, who is completing 65.9 percent of his passes for 19 touchdowns and seven interceptions. The Colts have 33 passing plays of 20 or more yards, and they’ve won 10 of their last 13 games SU when Luck throws two or more touchdowns. The Colts will likely be without WR Reggie Wayne, which puts more pressure on T.Y. Hilton who leads Indy with 711 receiving yards and 10 catches or 20 or more yards. Dwayne Allen has also caught a touchdown in four of his last five games. The Colts ground game is averaging just 3.9 yards per touch and Trent Richardson is questionable for this game with a hamstring injury. That’ll leave the bulk of the carries for Ahmad Bradshaw, who has three total touchdowns in his last two games. Defensively, the Indianapolis Colts are allowing 19.4 points, 311.1 yards, and they’ve forced 12 turnovers and 21 sacks. D'Qwell Jackson leads the Colts with 52 tackles and Bjoern Werner has four sacks.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are coming off a win over the Houston Texans and are looking for back-to-back wins for the first time. Ben Roethlisberger is completing 65.9 percent of his passes for 10 touchdowns and three interceptions. In his last three games, Roethlisberger has four touchdowns and one interception, and the Steelers are 7-3 SU in their last 10 games when he doesn’t throw a pick. Antonio Brown leads the Steelers with 719 yards and five touchdowns, and Pittsburgh has 25 passing plays of 20 or more yards. Lance Moore has caught a touchdown in back-to-back games. The Steelers ground game is averaging 4.7 yards per carry, as Le'Veon Bell and LeGarrette Blount have rushed for more than 800 yards and three touchdowns. Defensively, the Pittsburgh Steelers are allowing 23.1 points, 345 yards, and they’ve forced nine turnovers and 10 sacks. Lawrence Timmons leads the Steelers with 63 tackles and Cortez Allen has two interceptions.
The Colts are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 road games and 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The Steelers are 4-1 ATS vs. a team with a winning record and 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games in October.
I have a hard time trusting the Pittsburgh Steelers, as they've been so up-and-down all season long. Meanwhile, the Colts have established themselves as an elite team and shouldn't have a problem winning on the road. I like the Colts by a touchdown here. The Steelers just aren't the same team from old and struggle big time for long periods.
