TV:

It’s been a long week, but we’ve finally reached the Sunday action in the NFL’s Week 8 activity. Before we get settled in and wait on kickoffs, let’s take our daily look around the league and see which players are making headlines out there. Here’s the latest.

Monday Night Injury Update: We got the final injury reports from both the Redskins and the Cowboys yesterday, so let’s take a closer look at both teams and see what their rosters are going to be looking like.
For the Redskins, the major question mark this week has been QB Robert Griffin III. He was listed as questionable in the report due to his ankle. RG3 hasn’t been able to take the field since Week 2, but the good news here is that he was able to practice three times this week (limited). Most indications are that Colt McCoy will be making the start tomorrow night.
The team has another questionable designation in Tracy Porter, and the rest of the guys are set as probable.

Now let’s check out the Cowboys’ injury concerns. They’re actually pretty healthy heading into tomorrow’s matchup, with just Doug Free and Jack Crawford ruled out. The other players on the injury report--most notably QB Tony Romo and WR Dez Bryant--are all listed as probable.

The Lions suspended defensive tackle C.J. Mosley for two weeks, citing conduct detrimental to the team. Mosley was sent packing from London yesterday and is currently on the reserved/suspended by club list.

According to a report that emerged yesterday, the Patriots’ Chandler Jones is going to be missing at least six weeks due to his hip injury. The team is also concerned that he could be out for the rest of the regular season.
Jones was injured during the team’s Week 7 game; initially, reports were hopeful at his return, pegging him at around a four-week timeline. If all goes well, it’s looking like he’ll be able to return in Week 13 at best, however that would be a rosy scenario.

Week 8 NFL Schedule: It’s time to start looking forward to Week 8 in the NFL. Here’s a look at the complete schedule, along with the start times and TV networks you can catch the games on.
