Cowboys vs. Redskins - 10/27/14 NFL Pick, Odds, Prediction

Washington Redskins (2-5) at Dallas Cowboys (6-1)

NFL Football: Monday

The Line: Dallas Cowboys -9.5 -- Over/Under: 50 See the Latest Odds

TV: ESPN

The Washington Redskins and Dallas Cowboys play Monday night at AT&T Stadium.

The Washington Redskins are coming off a win over the Tennessee Titans last week and are still looking for their first road win. The Redskins defense continues to lead the way, as they’re allowing 26.1 points, 321.9 yards, and they’ve forced six turnovers and 16 sacks. The Redskins allowed just 236 total yards last week. Keenan Robinson leads the Redskins with 58 tackles and Ryan Kerrigan has 6.5 sacks. Offensively, Kirk Cousins is completing 61.8 percent of his passes for 10 touchdowns and nine interceptions. In his last two games, Cousins has thrown two touchdowns and four interceptions. DeSean Jackson leads the Redskins with 528 receiving yards and three touchdowns, and Washington has 30 passing plays of 20 or more yards. Pierre Garcon has hauled in a touchdown in each of his last two games. The Washington Redskins ground game is averaging 4.1 yards per carry and Alfred Morris leads the way with 440 rushing yards.

Cowboys vs. Redskins - 10/27/14 NFL Pick, Odds, Prediction

USA TODAY Sports

The Dallas Cowboys have won six straight games and are looking like the best team in the league right now. The Cowboys are being led by DeMarco Murray, who has 913 rushing yards and seven touchdowns, as he became the first player ever to top 100 rushing yards in the first seven games of a season. The Cowboys are 11-3 SU when Murray rushes for 100-plus yards. Tony Romo is completing 69.2 percent of his passes for 14 touchdowns and six interceptions, and he has five touchdown passes and one pick in his last two games. Dez Bryant and Terrance Williams have combined for more than 900 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns, as the Cowboys have 22 passing plays of 20 or more yards. Defensively, the Dallas Cowboys are allowing 21 points, 343.9 yards, and they’ve forced 12 turnovers and six sacks. Barry Church leads the Cowboys with 41 tackles and Justin Durant has two forced fumbles and an interception.

The Redskins are 2-7 ATS in their last 9 road games and 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games overall. The Cowboys are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 Monday games and 6-1 ATS in their last 7 vs. NFC East. The Redskins are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 meetings in Dallas.

While I usually take the points in a rivalry game, the Redskins simply aren't a very good football team and the Cowboys are the best team in the league right now. I'm not sure how the Redskins are going to match the Cowboys offensive production here. Take the Cowboys as long as you can get the line under 10 points.
