NFL Updates: News From Around the League, Week 11 Schedule and More
November 15, 2014
We’ve got just one more day to wait before the bulk of the Week 11 games in the NFL, but in the meantime there’s plenty to talk about. With that in mind let’s take our daily look around the league and check out some of the notable players out there to see what everyone’s up to.
It’s looking like injured Vikings TE Kyle Rudolph should be able to make his return to the field tomorrow in Chicago. He’s got a pair of full practices under his belt this week after missing out on a half-dozen games thanks to knee surgery.
This is a good game for Rudolph to return for, as the Bears defense is reeling right now.

The Falcons have a trio of questionable players on the bill for tomorrow’s game against Carolina. Most notable from that group are a pair of wide receivers: Harry Douglas and Devin Hester. Douglas has a foot injury and Hester’s ankle is giving him trouble. Both players were able to practice on a limited basis twice this week, however.
The Buccaneers’ Doug Martin has been ruled out for Week 11 against the Redskins, which will be his third consecutive missed game with his ankle injury.
With Martin gone, we can expect to see an expanded role for Charles Sims, the much talked-about rookie who will be backing up Bobby Rainey.
The Panthers will be getting a boost in the backfield this week against the Falcons. Both Jonathan Stewart and DeAngelo Williams were able to practice yesterday (full session) and have been ruled as probable for tomorrow’s game.
Williams is likely to get the start.
The Redskins’ Logan Paulsen is dealing with foot and hamstring issues this week. He’s officially been tagged as questionable after practicing on a limited basis this week.
The Lions look pretty good health-wise going into a tough game against Arizona this week. Nick Fairley and Larry Warford have been ruled out, and Reggie Bush is questionable (and probably not playing).
That said, everyone else on the report got a probable designation, most notably Calvin Johnson, Eric Ebron, Joseph Fauria and Brandon Pettigrew.
