The Line: New Orleans Saints -7 -- Over/Under: 50.5 See the Latest Odds

The Cincinnati Bengals and New Orleans Saints meet Sunday afternoon at Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

The Cincinnati Bengals have won just two of their last six contests and are coming off a horrible Thursday night performance against the Cleveland Browns. The Bengals main weakness starts with a defense that’s allowing 23.4 points, 391.9 yards, and has forced 14 turnovers and 13 sacks. The Cincinnati Bengals are 1-4-1 in their last six games when allowing 24 or more points. Reggie Nelson leads Cincy with 36 solo tackles and Carlos Dunlap has 4.5 sacks. Offensively, Andy Dalton is completing 60.9 percent of his passes for eight touchdowns and nine interceptions. Dalton has thrown five picks and two touchdowns in his last two games, and he’s gone four games this season without throwing a single touchdown. Mohamed Sanu and A.J. Green have combined for more than 1,000 receiving yards and seven touchdowns, while Jermaine Gresham has 12 of his 36 receptions in his last three games. The Bengals ground game is averaging 4.2 yards per carry and Giovani Bernard remains questionable with a hip injury.

The New Orleans Saints have split their last four games and are at the top of a brutal NFC South. The Saints go as far as its offense takes them, as Drew Brees is completing 68.4 percent of his passes for 18 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. Brees has five total touchdowns and three picks in his last two games, and the Saints have won 12 of their last 18 games when he throws at least two touchdowns. Jimmy Graham and Brandin Cooks have combined for close to 1,100 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns, while Kenny Stills has 18 targets in his last three games. The Saints ground game is averaging 4.7 yards per carry, and Mark Ingram has topped 100 rushing yards in three straight games. Defensively, the New Orleans Saints are allowing 25 points, 366 yards, and they’ve forced 10 turnovers and 21 sacks. Curtis Lofton leads New Orleans with 82 tackles and Junior Galette has six sacks.

The Bengals are 3-8-1 ATS in their last 12 road games and 1-4-1 ATS in their last 6 games overall. The Saints are 35-17 ATS in their last 52 home games and 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games in November. The Bengals are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 meetings.

With both teams struggling, this line is a little too steep for my taste. That's why I'm siding with the over. Neither team plays defense all that well and the over has hit in five of the Saints last six games and four of the Bengals last  five games in week 11. Defense will be optional in this game.
