NFL Updates: News From Around the League, Week 13 Schedule and More
November 28, 2014
After a full day of turkey and football, today’s a good time to relax, eat leftovers and reflect on the upcoming NFL games that will continue on Sunday. With that in mind, let’s check out some of the hot-topic headlines out there and see who’s making news right now.
TNF Wrap-Up: Even though Seattle logged 14 penalties for 105 yards in the final Thanksgiving game last night against the 49ers, they still were able to wreck San Fran’s offense on the way to a 19-3 victory.
Steven Hauschka had a busy evening here, posting four field goals as the defending champs halted their five-game losing streak in San Francisco.

Yesterday’s most promising game actually turned out to be one of the least competitive. The Cowboys were utterly dismantled by the visiting Eagles, with Dallas QB Tony Romo looking uncomfortable all afternoon long. He would finish with just 199 yards, zero touchdowns and two interceptions. That brought an end to his streak of 38 straight games with a TD pass. He was also sacked four times.
We’ll see if Romo can turn things around against the Bears next week.
The Eagles’ Nick Foles is scheduled to undergo a CT scan on his injured collarbone today, according to sources close to the team. Thus far, it’s looking like he’s coming along well in his return, but he’s missed four games now with the injury.
The Texans’ Arian Foster was able to practice yesterday, but the team still considers him day-to-day with his injured groin. Look for him to be questionable for this weekend’s game against the Titans.
Roddy White of the Falcons was unable to practice yesterday, which was his second straight day of missed activity due to his ankle injury.
On the bright side, the coaching staff anticipates he’ll be out there at practice today and they’re confident he’ll be active for this weekend against the Cardinals.
