The San Diego Chargers have won three straight games and are back in the AFC West race. Philip Rivers is completing 69.1 percent of his passes for 25 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. Rivers has five touchdowns and two picks in his last three games, and the Chargers have 44 passing plays of 20 or more yards. Keenan Allen and Malcom Floyd have combined for more than 1,400 receiving yards and eight touchdowns while Eddie Royal has 15 of his 43 receptions in his last two games. The Chargers ground attack is averaging 3.4 yards per carry, as Branden Oliver leads the way with 431 rushing yards and two touchdowns. Defensively, the San Diego Chargers are allowing 20.8 points, 331.8 yards, and they’ve forced 18 sacks and 13 turnovers. Eric Weddle leads the Chargers with 83 tackles and Brandon Flowers has 10 pass deflections.

The Patriots are 5-12 ATS in their last 17 road games and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The Chargers are 5-2 ATS vs. a team with a winning record and 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games overall. The under is 4-0 in the last 4 meetings in San Diego.

I think this game could go either way with two of the top quarterbacks in the league. I don't like that the Pats are playing back-to-back road games, especially with this one being on the West Coast. I'm going to back the Chargers and the points, as I think this is a bad spot for the Pats.
