The Line: Miami Dolphins -3 -- Over/Under: 45 See the Latest Odds

TV: CBS

The Baltimore Ravens and Miami Dolphins play Sunday in a huge AFC matchup at Sun Life Stadium.

The Baltimore Ravens have split their last six games and are one of many teams fighting for a playoff spot. Joe Flacco is completing 63.1 percent of his passes for 20 touchdowns and eight interceptions. Flacco has five total touchdowns and zero picks in his last three games, and the Ravens have 35 passing plays of 20 or more yards. Steve Smith and Torrey Smith have combined for more than 1,400 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns while Owen Daniels has six receptions in his last three games. Torrey Smith is questionable with a knee injury. The Ravens ground game is averaging 4.6 yards per carry, as Justin Forsett leads the way with 1,009 rushing yards and seven touchdowns. Defensively, the Baltimore Ravens are allowing 20.2 points, 360.2 yards, and they’ve forced 31 sacks and 18 turnovers. C.J. Mosley leads Baltimore with 105 tackles and Terrell Suggs has seven sacks.

The Miami Dolphins have split their last four games and are hoping to hold onto the last wild card spot in the AFC. Ryan Tannehill is completing 66.5 percent of his passes for 20 touchdowns and nine interceptions. Tannehill has six total touchdowns and two picks in his last three games, and the Dolphins have 27 passing plays of 20 or more yards. Mike Wallace and Jarvis Landry have combined for more than 1,100 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns while Dion Sims has eight of his 17 receptions in his last two games. The Dolphins ground game is averaging 4.6 yards per carry, as Lamar Miller leads the way with 729 rushing yards and six touchdowns. Defensively, the Miami Dolphins are allowing 19.3 points, 316.8 yards, and they’ve forced 33 sacks and 21 sacks. Jelani Jenkins leads the Dolphins with 95 tackles and Cameron Wake has 9.5 sacks.

The Ravens are 2-10 ATS in their last 12 games in December and 11-4 ATS vs. a team with a winning record. The Dolphins are 12-5 ATS in their last 17 home games and 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games when playing on Sunday following a Monday night game. The Ravens are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 meetings in Miami and 4-0 ATS in their last 4 meetings overall.

With this pretty much being a playoff game, I have to go with the Miami Dolphins at home. The Baltimore Ravens have been absolutely brutal against the pass this season without Jimmy Smith on the field, and that’s not a recipe for a win against a red hot Tannehill.
