Redskins vs. Rams - 12/7/14 NFL Pick, Odds, and Prediction

USA TODAY Sports

The Washington Redskins have lost four straight and haven’t won a home game in almost two months. Colt McCoy is completing 75.3 percent of his passes for four touchdowns and one interception. McCoy is coming off a three-touchdown performance, and the Redskins have 48 passing plays of 20 or more yards. DeSean Jackson and Pierre Garcon have combined for more than 1,400 receiving yards and eight touchdowns while Jordan Reed had nine catches last week. Jackson is questionable with a leg injury. The Redskins ground game is averaging 4.3 yards per carry, as Alfred Morris leads the way with 893 rushing yards and seven touchdowns. Defensively, the Washington Redskins are allowing 26.8 points, 344 yards, and they’ve forced 28 sacks and 15 turnovers. Keenan Robinson leads Washington with 94 tackles and Ryan Kerrigan has 9.5 sacks.

The Rams are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games following a ATS win and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The Redskins are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 home games and 2-7 ATS in their last 9 games overall. The Rams are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 meetings and the underdog is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 meetings.

The Washington Redskins have been a mess from the start while the Rams are starting to show signs of life and are starting to get it. I don't like the Redskins vibe right now, as they're too caught up with what's going to happen with RG3. Give me the Rams and the small chalk on the road.
