Week 15 in the NFL gets kicked off tonight when the Cardinals visit the Rams. We’re seeing all sorts of intense playoff races and we’re sure to be treated to a down-to-the-wire season in professional football. That said, let’s take our daily look around the league and check out some of the news.

The Jaguars’ Denard Robinson, who showed some real flash out of the backfield this season, will miss out on the rest of the year due to a foots sprain. He was wearing a walking boot yesterday, so now we know the reason why.
He managed 582 yards and four scores on the ground.

Navorro Bowman of the 49ers won’t be playing this week against Seattle--that’s the bad news. The good news is that he may be able to come back to the field in Week 16.
Bowman got his activation this week to the roster. He’s missed the entire season so far due to his recovery from a torn ACL/MCL.

Carolina’s DeAngelo Williams is now listed as day-to-day with a hand injury. He’s got a fracture in one of the bones.
No word yet on what his status will be against the Buccaneers in Week 15.

Reggie Bush of the Lions missed out on practice yesterday. He’s got an ankle issue he’s trying to get past.
Bush himself said he tweaked the ankle in last week’s game, which marked his return from a three-game absence. We’ll have to watch him the rest of the week to see if he can make it out there this week.

No real surprise here, but the Panthers actually made it official. Yesterday, they named backup QB Derek Anderson the starter for this week’s game against Tampa Bay.
No. 1 Cam Newton will be sidelined after suffering fractures in his back during a car accident this week.

Good news for the Packers. Eddie Lacy was able to practice with the team yesterday. He suffered a hip injury on Monday against Atlanta.
The team is calling his injury a bruise; we’ll see if he can get out there against Buffalo this week. It’s looking good so far.
