Just one more day until the big one: the Super Bowl will get going tomorrow evening at 6:30 PM ET, and we’re pretty sure everyone is sick of waiting around. In the meantime, let’s take another look at a few of the hot-topic storylines that are happening around the league and see what everyone’s up to.

Demaryius Thomas to the Jets? Don’t laugh; it could happen. Especially if Eric Decker has his way. According to the New York WR, he’s been “pushing” Thomas to sign with Gang Green in free agency, assuming he makes it that far.
That’s a lot of ifs and speculation, but it’s a tantalizing scenario for Jets fans. Still, Denver won’t let a player of Thomas’ caliber walk if they can help it, so it’s still a longshot he even makes it to the open market.

Remember back in the preseason when LeGarrette Blount and Le’Veon Bell were arrested on marijuana charges? It’s been quite a while since then, and in the meantime Bell became one of the premiere backs in the league and Blount is headed to the Super Bowl with his old team the Patriots.
Some even better news for Blount: his possession charges were dropped yesterday. He fulfilled his commitment to the court by doing community service in New England. Any way you look at it, Blount certainly has come a long way in what’s been a rollercoaster of a season for him.

Minnesota’s embattled running back Adrian Peterson will start out his probation on Wednesday. He’ll be doing community service and being counseled. He’ll also have to submit to monthly drug tests.
It’s still a pretty big question what the Vikings will be doing with Peterson; he’s still under contract and due $12.75 million in the upcoming season.

Remember Austin Collie? He played five seasons in the NFL; four with the Colts and one with the Patriots. He’s going to be joining the BC Lions of the CFL.
