We’re cruising into the weekend at the NFL Combine, and there’s plenty to keep us football fans occupied. While we’re waiting on the newest activities to get going, let’s take our daily look around the league and see what’s going on out there.

Could Rams quarterback Sam Bradford be heading to Cleveland? That’s the belief this week, as there’s reportedly some major interest among the organization in bringing the St. Louis signal-caller to the Browns.
Ideally, Cleveland would like to get Bradford by giving up a second- or third-rounder, but whether or not Bradford even wants to be traded (he reportedly doesn’t) is another story.
Regardless, the Browns also have their eye on ex-Buccaneer Josh McCown, who was cut by Tampa.

Good news on the health front for Seattle safety Kam Chancellor. He reportedly will not need surgery on his knee this off-season, after suffering a bone bruise and MCL tear in practice prior to the Super Bowl.
With some rest, rehab and a bit of luck, Chancellor may be able to get back to 100 percent at some point this off-season.

The Bengals cut ties with guard Mike Pollak yesterday. He played in 22 games in two years with Cincinnati.

The Bears have been hemming and hawing over potential contract extensions to RB Matt Forte and WR Alshon Jeffery recently, depicting the negotiations as “ a slow process.”
Forte, who has been the Bears’ workhorse over the past several seasons, is 29 years old and entering the final year of his deal. He’ll make $6.65 million in base salary this year along with some bonuses.
As for Jeffery, he’s 25 and hitting the last season of a four-year, $4.54 million deal of his own. He’ll be getting just over $960,000 this year, which is downright cheap for a WR of his caliber.
