We’ve hit another NFL off-season weekend, and the league news has been trickling in at a steady rate all along. With that said, let’s check out some of the notable players and situations out there in the league.

The Chiefs cut ties with TE Anthony Fasano yesterday. He played in Kansas City for two years, posting 48 catches for 426 yards in his time there.

This one’s not really a surprise by most estimations, but worth noting nonetheless. Yesterday, a report emerged saying that the Bills were in contract discussions with free agent quarterback Josh McCown.
McCown went to Buffalo on a visit last week and has a history with the new OC there and a few of the other coaches. He’s coming off a pretty dismal year with the Bucs, posting 2,206 yards, 11 touchdowns and 14 interceptions in 11 games. He’s 35 years old.

Adrian Peterson can begin the process of being reinstated by the league, according to a judge who overturned his suspension yesterday.
Peterson had originally been hit with a reinstatement date of April 15, but this will get the ball rolling quicker. Expect a formal review by the NFL.

The Titans’ offensive line will have another hole to fill this off-season. Veteran OL Michael Roos announced his retirement yesterday, after spending 10 years with the Titans.
Roos was coming off a knee injury that limited him to just five games last season.

Speaking of OL, a report came out yesterday that said the Eagles would be releasing 32-year-old lineman Todd Herremans.
This seems to be a cap-motivated move by the Eagles, who will save $2.8 million in space this year.
