Dent is a third-round draft pick that came from Atlanta via a trade.

The Bengals clarified their backup QB situation a little bit yesterday. AJ McCarron will hold the job heading into camp, according to the coaching staff.
Cincinnati may still bring back Jason Campbell, who was the backup last season, but he would have to unseat McCarron for the No. 2 job.

Speaking of quarterback situations, let’s head over to New York and check out the ever-fluid QB status of the Jets.
As of right now, Geno Smith is heading into camp as the team’s starter. Technically speaking, he’s really the only option New York has. New quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick is coming off an injury.
The Jets still may be players in the QB market come draft time. They pick No. 6 overall.

While we’re on the subject of high draft picks, let’s speculate on what the Redskins could do at No. 5 overall. Washington GM Scot McCloughan said yesterday that the team is still mulling its options as far as picking up QB Robert Griffin III’s fifth year.
McCloughan went on to say that the Redskins would also consider drafting a quarterback at that No. 5 slot.
We probably won’t know Griffin’s status with the team until after the draft. The team has until May 3 to make a decision, and if they do end up getting a high-ranked QB in the draft we could see them decline that fifth-year option.
