NFL Updates: News From Around the League, Off-Season Schedule and More
April 18, 2015
We’ve seen some pretty heavy developments in the NFL this week, and that trend is only going to continue as we get closer to the 2015 draft, which begins on April 30. In the meantime, let’s check out some of the notable players and storylines out there right now.
Jaguars fans will be happy to know that LB Paul Posluszny has deemed himself healthy and back to 100 percent following his rehab.
Posluszny made some comments yesterday regarding his contract extension, and also said that he’s hoping to gain clearance to join up with the team’s off-season program, which begins next week.
Posluszny tore a pectoral muscle in October and was placed on injured reserve.

The Broncos’ Brandon Marshall had surgery on his right foot last month, according to a source close to the situation.
Marshall went through a mid-foot sprain last season and missed out on two games before coming back for the playoffs.
Chiefs fans will be getting six more years of Jamaal Charles if he gets his way. The KC RB made some statements yesterday that show he plans to play until he’s 35--which is six seasons away.
Charles has been in the NFL for seven years and got into some injury issues this past season. If he wants to make it to 35, he’ll have to avoid those moving forward.
So, where will RB Adrian Peterson end up by the time the 2015 season rolls around, now that he’s been reinstated by the league?
As of now, he’s still a Viking, but that hasn’t stopped the rumor mill from swirling furiously around him. Some pundits believe Peterson will be shipped out via a trade, with the front-runner for his services being the Dallas Cowboys.
That said, the Raiders and the Cardinals are also said to be very interested in the 30-year-old Peterson. We’ll just have to wait and see what happens.
