Today, we’re going to spend some time running through the top ten sack leaders of the 2014 NFL season. None of these guys are on my team, but you can bet I wish they were. Especially the guy who takes the No. 2 spot.

Top Ten NFL Sack Leaders in 2014

USA TODAY Sports

1. Kansas City Chiefs LB Justin Houston had 22.0 sacks in 2014.

2. Houston Texans DE J.J. Watt Houston racked-up 20.5 sacks (and a whole bunch of other impressive stats) over the course of the 2014 season.

3. Baltimore Ravens LB Elvis Dumervil (whose name will never cease to make me think of a cartoon supervillian turned lounge singer) had a great season with 17.0 sacks.

4. Former first overall pick, Buffalo Bills DE Mario Williams, had 14.5 sacks during his tenth season in the NFL.

(4*) 5. Philadelphia Eagles LB Connor Baldwin also had 14.5 sacks in 2014.

6. Denver Broncos LB Von Miller (owner of the snazziest spectacles in the league) got 14.0 sacks last year when he wasn’t busy being a fashion plate.

7. Washington Redskins LB Ryan Kerrigan had 13.5 sacks over the course of last season.

8. New York Giants DE Jason Pierre-Paul racked-up 12.5 sacks during the 2014 regular season.

9. Baltimore Ravens LB Terrell Suggs is still a force to be reckoned with, earning 12.0 sacks in 2014.

(9*) 10. Minnesota Vikings DE Everson Griffen (admittedly not one of this list’s most well-known players) also earns a spot with 12.0 sacks last season.
