The Hamilton Tiger-Cats look to bounce back after losing a last-second game to the Calgary Stampeders. The Winnipeg Blue Bombers are coming off a victory over the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Drew Willy is completing 88 percent of his passes for three touchdowns and zero interceptions. Willy is off to the start fans were hoping for after landing a contract extension this offseason. Clarence Denmark and Nick Moore each have 94 receiving yards, while Paris Cotton has a touchdown on four receptions. Cotton leads the Blue Bombers ground game with 108 rushing yards on 13 carries. Defensively, Matt Bucknor leads Winnipeg with five tackles and Johnny Adams has an interception. Maurice Leggett and Kashawn Fraser are questionable with injuries.
The Tiger-Cats are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games following a ATS loss and 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The Blue Bombers are 0-2-2 ATS in their last 4 home games and 2-0-2 ATS in their last 4 games overall. The Tiger-Cats are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 meetings.
I really like how Willy played in the opening game and think that can carry over to this matchup. The Hamilton Tiger-Cats really stalled at times on the offensive end, which doesn't make me feel good heading into this game. I'll take the home team and the free two points.
