The Browns and Jets meet up in new York on Sunday in what should be a defensive battle and one that marks the return of Darelle Revis to Gang Green.

The Cleveland Browns have apparently moved forward from the johnny Football fiasco from last season and while Manziel certainly remains a serious threat to reclaim the starter's role it looks as though it is Josh McCown's team for the time being. The Browns head into New York to face off against a revamped Jets team who has very high expectations this season, but after Geno Smith was injured and the starting quarterback position fell into the lap of Ryan Fitzpatrick some of that excitement faded away. Cleveland will need to establish the ground game early on and allow McCown some opportunity to look down field but with so much turn over happening in the Cleveland back field there is no telling who will be handling the bulk of the load or how effective they are going to be.
The Jets meanwhile brought back Revis from the hated Patriots in the offseason and will now move forward with Todd Bowles as their new head coach after Rex Ryan was let go and ultimately signed in Buffalo. New York also brought in Brandon Marshall to go alongside Eric Decker and with Chris Ivory poised for a breakout season on the ground this Jets team could surprise some people in the AFC East. It should come as no surprise here to see the Jets win a low scoring game here with ease as the Browns don't have the horses to compete and while New York isn't the greatest they should have more than enough on either side to send the Browns to a season opening defeat.
