TV:

It’s time for the majority of the Week 2 action in the NFL today, but before we get to that let’s check in on some of the notable news items this morning from around the league in our daily wrap-up.

We’ll start with a couple of Colts items today, beginning with WR T.Y. Hilton.
Last week, there wasn’t a whole lot of optimism that he’d be making it out onto the field for tomorrow night’s game against the Jets, but the tide of opinion seems to have turned, and he looks more probable than not.
That said, we’ll have to wait until game time to find out Hilton’s official designation. He’s currently listed as questionable due to that knee injury.

One more Colts news item this morning: the team is reportedly close to signing free agent running back Montee Ball.
Ball was cut by the Broncos early this month and hasn’t found a home yet. It seems he’ll be landing in Indy, who could definitely use his help on the ground.

We won’t know about the Bills’ LeSean McCoy for sure until just before the Bills kick off against the Patriots, but he’s expected to play as well.
McCoy has been fighting off a hamstring issue this week. Buffalo will need him in a big-time division matchup today.

The Packers announced that OT Bryan Bulaga would be out 4-6 weeks yesterday. He’s got a torn meniscus.
It’s good to finally have some clarity on the Bulaga situation, as fans and pundits had been in the dark until yesterday. Look for a few more sacks here and there in Green Bay.

Let’s finish up with a couple of Jets questionables for tomorrow’s game. Chris Ivory was limited in practice yesterday, but the good news is that most people expect him to be ready for tomorrow. He’s got a groin issue.
Then there’s CB Antonio Cromartie. He was limited in practice as well yesterday due to his sprained knee. We’d imagine he’ll sit this week, and the Jets will breathe a sigh of relief that he’s not out for the season.
