NFL Updates: News From Around the League, Week 3 Schedule and More
September 26, 2015
We’ve got just one more day to wait for the bulk of the Week 3 games around the NFL. While we’re biding our time, let’s check out some of the notable players and situations out there in our daily wrap-up.
The Bears have a couple of notable probable designations on the roster heading into tomorrow’s game against the Seahawks. Marquess Wilson and Matt Forte will both likely be suiting up.
Wilson is dealing with a shoulder injury, and Forte has a knee issue. They’re two offensive pieces the Bears will desperately need, as Jay Cutler and Alshon Jeffery will be out of action with hamstring injuries.

The Dolphins’ Ryan Tannehill was limited at yesterday’s practice, but that was likely a precautionary measure.
Tannehill has been dealing with an ankle injury, but we’ve got no real indication that he’s in danger of missing time this week. He’ll have a tough divisional matchup ahead against the Bills.
Now let’s move on to a couple of notable RB names. First off is the Cardinals’ Andre Ellington. He’s listed as doubtful for tomorrow’s game against the 49ers, thanks to a knee injury. We’re likely looking at a Chris Johnson-David Johnson tandem tomorrow.
As for the Packers’ Eddie Lacy, he was able to practice yesterday, but was limited.
Lacy missed out on Thursday’s session thanks to an ankle injury suffered against the Seahawks this past weekend. We’ll get some more information on him today when the Packers’ injury report is released for Monday’s game against the Chiefs.
The Seahawks’ Marshawn Lynch earned a questionable designation yesterday. He’s fighting a calf issue.
Lynch only practiced once this week: a limited session on Thursday. We’re likely looking at a game-time decision and a reduced workload if he does play.
The Colts got some good news on CB Vontae Davis yesterday. He’s expected to play tomorrow against the Titans.
Davis suffered a concussion and is officially tagged as questionable. As long as he heals as planned he should be out there--and the Colts will need him desperately.
