NFL Updates: News From Around the League, Week 4 Schedule and More
October 3, 2015
We’ve got just one more day to wait before Week 4 in the NFL gets going again (early this time; 9:30 AM ET from London). That said, let’s check out some of the notable players and situations out there in the league.
Tomorrow’s London game is a big one for the Dolphins and head coach Joe Philbin. There are reports out there that ownership might start firing members of the coaching staff if the team loses to the Jets tomorrow. That puts DC Kevin Coyle and Philbin himself in the potential crosshairs.

Quick note on Falcons wide receiver Devin Hester: he’s been ruled out for tomorrow’s game thanks to his toe injury.
The good news is that Hester is back at practice, he’s just not 100 percent yet.
As for the Seahawks’ Marshawn Lynch, he had to sit out of practice yesterday once again, thanks to that ailing hamstring.
We’re likely looking at no practice and a game-time decision on Monday night for Lynch.
Down in Jacksonville, TE Julius Thomas has been ruled out for tomorrow’s game. The feeling around the team seems to be that he’ll be back around Week 6. He’s still recovering from hand surgery.
The Texans’ Arian Foster is officially questionable for tomorrow’s game with a groin injury, but the team will let him decide if he thinks he can play.
It’s thought Foster’s groin issue has healed to the point of a pain tolerance issue, so we could see him on the field tomorrow.
The Packers’ Davante Adams managed a questionable tag this week with his ankle injury, but isn’t expected to play.
It looks like Drew Brees will be able to suit up for the Saints tomorrow against the Cowboys. He’s probable with that shoulder injury.
The Cardinals’ Andre Ellington will be a game-time decision tomorrow thanks to his knee injury. That said, Chris Johnson is still going to get the start at running back.
