The Giants look for follow up victory after their impressive win in Buffalo last weekend as they host the disappointing 49ers on Sunday Night Football.
The Niners head into Met Life Stadium on Sunday night looking to get anything going offensively as they are coming off a 17-3 loss to the Packers last weekend and haven't been able to get a win since their season opener against Minnesota. San Fran seems to be stuck between a rock and a hard place with Colin Kaepernick as the once promising quarterback has struggled mightily over the season and a bit but with so much invested in him and the glimpses of super stardom we have seen from him they are forced to continue starting him until they eradicate the situation. Carlos Hyde is having a nice season despite his team's futility and he is already a better option than Frank Gore in my mind and if San Fran can get the passing game going Hyde is only going to get better. Unfortunately, the passing game is going to have to be on point tonight as the Giants have been able to move the ball through the air and operate with great offensive efficiency.

New York is coming off their best win of the season by a landslide as they went into the Ralph and dominated the Bills by two touchdowns in a game that was never even close. Now, the Giants have to do what the Giants don't normally do and that is follow up one big win with another in the regular season. New York seems to have this weird complex about them where they will show up big one week and come out flat the next and this has all the makings of that type of result from Eli Manning and the crew especially if they can't get their running game going. The Giants are a decent team that has a chance to pull through in the NFC East but I still don't trust them as far as I can throw them and against a Niners team in desperation mode it might be a good time to back San Fran. However, Kaepernick is really struggling at the moment which leaves us in a tough spot as I don't really want to bite on either team here and as such I like the total as I think we see a lower scoring game with plenty of action on the ground
