We’re all finished up with the NFL’s Week 6 schedule, and now we football fans can officially start looking forward to Week 7--which begins in just a couple of days. In the meantime, let’s check out some of the notable headlines out there.

Eagles-Giants Wrap-Up: The Eagles evened up their record with the Giants at 3-3 last night with a primetime win, thanks to a big performance from DeMarco Murray. He posted 22 rushes for 109 yards and a score in the 27-7 victory, easing up Sam Bradford’s three interceptions.
The two teams are now knotted up atop the NFC East and will play again in Week 17.

NFL News: Player News and Updates for 10/20/15

Let’s start things off with a couple of Redskins items. TE Jordan Reed is still recovering from his concussion, but the team’s not sure if he’ll be able to get back on the field for Week 7. We’ll get some more info on him as the week goes on.
As for WR DeSean Jackson, he suffered a setback on his injured hamstring in last week’s practice and will likely end up missing out on Week 7.

The 49ers have a quick turnaround this week; they’ll be taking on the Seahawks in Seattle on Thursday. The team is optimistic that RB Reggie Bush will be able to return for that one, but will likely tread softly when it comes to his injured calf.
As for Carlos Hyde, the team says his foot injury isn’t serious and is just a bruise. He should be okay for Thursday.

We got an update on the Steelers’ Michael Vick yesterday. His hamstring injury is expected to sideline him for at least a week.
Not that it really matters; Ben Roethlisberger could very well return in Week 7, and even if that doesn’t happen the team got a great effort out of Landry Jones in their Week 6 win.

The Packers’ Ty Montgomery got a bit of good news yesterday in the case of his ankle. He’s dealing with a simple sprain, and not the high-ankle variety.
The Pack are going into a bye this week, which should give him a good shot at returning.

The Jaguars have a couple of new injury concerns this week. Allen Robinson has a fairly significant bruise to his leg, but did avoid a break.
Then there’s TE Julius Thomas. He’s got a bruised rib, but should be able to play in London.
