IMPACT INJURIES WEEK 7

Atlanta Falcons- Roddy White (WR). White (knee) was limited at Wednesday’s practice and is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Tennessee Titans. If White does not play, the Falcons will lose a veteran presence even though White has basically been the number 3 wideout on the team this year. Leonard Hankerson (WR). Hankerson (ribs/hamstring) was limited as well Wednesday. Hankerson has burst onto the scene being a clear-cut No.2 wideout this year and has 241 yards for two TDs this season. If White and Hankerson don’t suit up, Julio Jones will have a boat load of targets and Nick Williams will see added playing time as well. Justin Durant (LB). Durant (elbow) was limited at practice Wednesday. Durant suffered the injury during a Thursday night loss to the Saints. If Durant can’t play, Jopolo Bartu will step in as the starter. Mike Person (C). Person (knee) was a limited participant Wednesday. Person suffered the injury against the Redskins
and James Stone has taken over and has done a good job but the way Devonta Freeman has been playing, any offensive lineman would look good.

Baltimore Ravens- Justin Forsett (RB). Forsett (ankle) did not practice Wednesday and is listed as questionable for Monday’s game against the Cardinals. Forsett played through the injury last week against the 49ers and had a productive day with 101 scrimmage yards. Javorius Allen will start or get added carries if Forsett can’t play or is limited. Marshal Yanda (Guard). Yanda (ankle) did not practice and is listed as questionable for Monday night’s game against the Cardinals. This would be a huge blow because Yanda is considered the best offensive line on the Ravens. John Urschel will start if Yanda cannot play.

Buffalo Bills- Tyrod Taylor (QB). Taylor (knee) was limited at practice Wednesday and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game in London against the Jaguars. Taylor did not play in last weeks loss against the Bengals. Taylor could return this week but if he is again held out, EJ Manuel will take over as the starter. Percy Harvin (WR). Harvin (hip) did not travel with the Bills to London and is listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game against the Jaguars. Sammy Watkins (WR). Watkins (ankle) is considered doubtful against the Jaguars this Sunday as well. Since both Watkins and Harvin look to be out, look for Chris Hogan, Robert Woods, and Charles Clay to get the starts and added targets. Karlos Willams (RB). Williams (concussion) did not travel with the Bills to London and is listed as doubful. He still remains in the concussion protocol but has not been officially ruled out yet. Anthony Dixon and Dan Heron will backup Lesean McCoy Sunday if Williams
can’t suit up.

Carolina Panthers- Shaq Thompson (LB). Thompson (knee) will miss Sunday night’s game against the Eagles. The first round rookie suffered the injury against the Seahawks in last weeks game. A.J. Klein will start in his place.

Cleveland Browns- Gary Barnidge (TE). Barnidge (ankle) was limited at practice Wednesday. Barnidage is on tear with 413 yards(third best) and 5 TDs (second best) and is Josh McCown’s favorite target. This will greatly hurt the Browns chances of winning Sunday against the Rams if Barnidge is out. Jim Dray will start.

Dallas Cowboys- Dez Bryant (WR). Bryant (foot) didn’t practice Wednesday and is listed as doubtful. Owner, Jerry Jones, hinted that Dez could play this week against division rivals Giants but it does not look like he will be able to play this week because he is only a month removed from foot surgery. The Cowboys definitely need him back to stay in the hunt for the NFC East.

Detroit Lions- Eric Ebron (TE). Ebron (knee) was limited at Wednesday’s practice and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Vikings. Ebron started out very strong scoring two TD’s and 179 yards for his second year campaign. He has missed the Lions pass two games and is greatly needed for a desperate Lions team. Theo Riddick (RB). Pass catching specialist, Theo Ridddick was limited Wednesday with a groin injury. Riddick has been a very helpful security blanket to Matt Stafford and the struggling Lions. If he is out Ameer Abdullah would be a three-down workhorse with Joique Bell in the mix. James Ihedigbo (Saftey). Ihedigbo (quad) did not practice Wednesday and is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Vikings. The hard hitting safety is the rock in the secondary and the Lions would be vulnerable in the passing game without him. Isa Abdul-Quddus would start in his place if he is unable to suit up Sunday.

Houston Texans- Arian Foster (RB). Foster (groin) was limited at Wednesdays practice and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Dolphins. Foster will likely be on the injury report a lot because of how injury prone he is. If he cannot play or is limited, Alfred Blue would get added carries. Cecil Shorts (WR). Shorts (hamstring) is considered unlikely to play against the Dolphins. No matter, Deandre Hopkins has been on a tear so this will allow even more targets with Jaelen Strong in the mix. Jadeveon Clowney (DE). Clowney (ankle) did not practice Wednesday and is listed questionable for Sunday’s matchup against the Dolphins. Having Clowney back health, opposite of JJ Watt makes opposing quarterback alert at all times. Kareem Jackson (corner). Jackson (ankle) will not play Sunday against the Dolphins. Jackson, a reliable corner will be missed in a win the Texans need badly. A.J. Bouye will start opposite Jonathan Joseph.

Indianapolis Colts- Mike Adams (Safety). Adams (hamstring) did not practice Wednesday and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s matchup against the Saints. Adams was injured on a pick-six and left last Sunday nights game against the Patriots. Rookie, Clayton Geathers will start if Adams is unable to go.

Jacksonville Jaguars- Allen Robinson (WR). Robinson (leg) was limited at Wednesday practice and is listed as questionable. Robinson suffered the injury last Sunday against the Texans. It is being called a “leg bruise.” Robinson is Blake Bortles favorite target and will be needed against a good Bills defense in London Sunday. Robinson, this year has been targeted 62 times which is 7th time in the NFL. Opposite of Robinson is Allen Hurns (WR). Hurns (ankle) did not practice Wednesday. and is listed as questionable Sunday against the Bills. Hurns has scored a TD in four consecutive games. Robinson and Hurns have been very reliable targets this year. If they are limited or out Juliuis Thomas, and Bryan Walters will get added playing time and targets. TJ Yeldon (RB). Yeldon (groin) did not practice Wednesday and is listed as questionable. Yeldon did not play in Sunday’s loss to the Texans. Yeldon has been a three-down workhorse when healthy and will be needed against a stout Bills defense. If he is held out again Denard Robinson, Toby Gerhart will get more playing time and carries.

Kansas City Chiefs- Jeremy Maclin (WR). Maclin (concussion) did not practice and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s matchup with the Steelers. He suffered the concussion during Sunday’s win against the Vikings. Maclin, being Alex Smith’s favorite receiver this year will be missed in the passing game if he is unable to play. Having Jamaal Charles already out for the year, the Chiefs cannot afford to have their best receiver out against a good high powered Steelers team. Travis Kelce, Albert Wilson, Chris Conley, and De’ Anthony Thomas will get added playing time and targets if Maclin is unable to play.

Miami Dolphins- Kenny Stills (WR). Stills (back was limited at Wednesdays practice and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s matchup against the Houston Texans.Being behind Jarvis Landry and Rishard Matthews, Stills has not done a whole lot but the past two games he has combined for 127 yards and a TD so it looks like Ryan Tannehill is finally getting a feel for him. If Still can’t play or is limited, veteran Greg Jennings will step in as the third wide receiver. Brent Grimes (Corner). Grimes (knee) was limited at Wednesdays practice and is listed as questionable. Grimes, being the best lockdown corner on the Dolphins will be needed this Sunday against the Texans to lockdown Deandre Hopkins. Brice McCain will have a tall task in covering Hopkins, with Zack Bowman filling in to cover the WR2 if Grimes cannot play Sunday.

Minnesota Vikings- Adrian Peterson (RB). Peterson (finger) was limited Wednesday’s practice and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s matchup against the Detroit Lions. It doesn’t sound like Peterson is in danger of missing this weeks matchup but he could be limited by pass catching out of the backfield. Look for Jerick McKinnon and Matt Asiata to see some added playing time if Peterson is limited at all. Terrrance Newman (coner). Newman (ankle) was limited at practice Wednesday and is listed as questionable for his matchup against the Detroit Lions. Newman will likely be on Golden Tate. This might give the Lions an advantage if Newman is limited by his ankle injury because of how quick off the ball Golden Tate is. Rookie, Trae Waynes will start in Newman’s place if he is unable to play Sunday.

New England Patriots- Dion Lewis (RB). Lewis (abdomen) was limited at Wednesday’s practice and is listed as questionable against the New York Jets. It is not really a question that Lewis will play, it is how mobile and quick can he be against a stout Jets defense. Lewis, will need to be on the top of his game (especially pass catching) if the Patriots want to confuse the Jets defense. LeGarrette Blount will get added carries and playing time if Lewis is limited. Marcus Cannon (OL). Cannon (toe) did not practice Wednesday and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s matchup against the Jets. This will be a huge blow for the Patriots against what is arguably the best D-line in the NFL. With Nate Soldier already out for the year, the Patriots need Cannon to play Sunday. Cameron Fleming will start if Cannon is unable to play.

New Orleans Saints- Dannell Ellerbe (LB). Ellerbe (hip) did not practice Wednesdays practice and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s matchup against the Indianapolis Colts. Ellerbe was injured against the Falcons on Thursday night. Ellerbe was having an amazing game with 13 total tackles and one fumble recovery. If Ellerbe is is limited or can’t suit up , David Hawthorne will get added playing time.

New York Giants- Odell Beckham Jr. (WR). Beckham (hamstring) did not practice Wednesday and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s matchup against the Dallas Cowboys. Beckham, played through the injury on Monday night and was productive scored a TD and 61 receiving yards. If he is limited, Dwayne Harris, Rueben Randle, and Shane Vereen will get added targets.

New York Jets- Chris Owsu (Wr). Owsu (knee) returned to practice Wednesday’s and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s matchup agaisnt the Patriots. With Quincy Enunwa already suspended for four game, Owsu will give the Jets a solid number 3 receiver against a vulnerable Patriots secondary if he can play. Jeremy Kerly and Devin Smith will get added playing time if Owsu can’t suit up. Buster Skrine (corner). Skrine (concussion) did not practice Wednesday and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s matchup agaianst the Patriots. Skrine, is a very important player to the this Jets defense because of his ability to blitz the quarterback. It all depends on how he does in the NFL’s pos-concussion protocol. If he is out, Marcus Williams will start in his place.

Oakland Raiders- Charles Woodson (safety). Woodson (shoulder/knee) did not practice Wednesday and is listed as questionable Sunday against the San Diego Charges. Woodson is playing surprisingly well even though he is 39 years old. Woodson has 4 int on the year which is tied for the most in the NFL. If Woodson is limited or can’t play Taylor Mays will start at safety Sunday.

Philadelphia Eagles- Riley Cooper (WR). Cooper (knee) did not practice and is listed as questionable for Sunday night’s matchup against the Carolina Panther. Cooper has had 17 targets over the last three games an has two TDs as well. If Cooper is limited or can’t play look Josh Huff and Jordan Matthews to get added targets. Kiko Alonso (LB). Alonzo (Knee) was limited at Wednesday’s practice and is listed as questionable. Alonzo injured his ACL in week 2 and has not played since. Alozno will give the Eagles a huge boost at linebacker if he can play Sunday against Carolina.

Pittsburgh Steelers- Ben Roethlisberger (QB). Roethlisberger (knee) was limited at Wednesday’s practice and is listed as questionable for Sundays matchup against the Chiefs. Roethlisberger suffered a sprained MCL Week 3 against the Rams. Mike Vick was filling in but Landry Jones played very well against the Arizona Cardinals so he will get the start if Roethlisberger can’t play.

San Diego Chargers- Kennan Allen (WR). Allen (hip) did not practice Wednesday and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s matchup against the Oakland Raiders. Allen suffered the injury in the fourth quarter last week against the Packers and did not return. If Allen is limited or out look for Malcolm Floyd, Danny Woodhead and Josh Lambo will get added targets if Allen is unable to play. Antonio Gates (TE). Gates (knee) did not practice Sunday and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s matchup against the Raiders. It does not look like he is in jeopardy of missing Sunday’s game but if he is at all limited, Ladarius Green will get added playing time.

San Francisco 49ers- Carlos Hyde (RB). Hyde (foot) was limited Wednesday and is listed as questionable for Thursday nights matchup against the Seattle Seahawks. According to Ian Rapoport, Hyde is “good to go.” That is good new for the 49ers against a good Seattle run defense. If Hyde is limited look for Reggie Bush to get added playing time. Anquan Boldin (WR). Boldin (hamstring) was limited all week and is listed as questionable for Thursday nights matchup against the Seahawks. According to Ian Rapoport the 49ers will decide during pre game warmup to see if Boldin is ready to go. Being a game-time decision, he will likely be limited. Even if he does play look for Torrey Smith an Quincy Patton to get added targets and playing time.

Seattle Seahawks- NO IMPACT PLAYERS INJURED

St. Louis Rams- Tavon Austin (WR). Austin (hamstring) did not practice Wednesday and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s matchup against the Cleveland Browns. Austin is an complete player out of the backfield and receiving the ball. He has 4 TDs this year and will be missed if he does not play. If he is out or limited look Stedman Bailey, Kenny Brit, and Brian Quick to get added playing time and targets. Robert Quinn (DE). Quinn (knee) did not practice and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s matchup against the Browns. Quinn being the best pass rusher on the Rams will be needed in trying to slowdown Josh McCown who is doing very well as of late. If he is out or limited look for Eugene Sims to get added playing time.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers- Austin Seferian- Jenkins (TE). Seferian-Jenkins (shoulder) did not practice Wednesday and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s matchup against the Washington Redskins. He has been out since week 2 when he suffered the injury against the Saints. If he is unable to play, Brandon Myers will start again at tight end. Gerald McCoy (DT). McCoy (shoulder) was limited Wednesday and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s matchup against the Redskins. McCoy lead all defensive tackles with 4.5 sacks through five games this season. It would be a huge blow if McCoy can’t play or is limited.

Tennessee Titans- Marcus Mariota (QB). Mariota (knee) did not practice Wednesday is listed as out for Sunday’s matchup against the Falcons. Mariota suffered a left MCL sprain and did not look right the rest of the game. Mariota said “I am going to take it day by day.” If he is unable to play, Zach Metteneberger will start in his place. Brian Schwenke (C). Schwekne (dislocated ankle) is out for the year and was placed on IR. This is a huge blow for the Titans run defense and pass protection. Andy Gallik will start in his place.

Washington Redskins- DeSean Jackson (WR). Jackson (hamstring) did not practice Wednesday and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Jackson has been out since week one when he suffered the injury against the Dolphins. Jackson is one of the best deep threats in the league. If he returns this would help Kirk Cousins a lot. If he is held out again, Pierre Garcon, Jamison Crowder, and Andre Roberts will get added playing time and targets. Jordan Reed (TE). Reed (concussion) remains in the protcol Wednesday and is listed as questionable. Reed has missed two games in a row. Derek Carrier has replaced him and played quite well with 66 yards and a TD in two games. If both Reed and Jackson can return this will give Kirk Cousins much needed weapons.
