NFL Survivor-dom continues into Week 10 and while some of the staples of this article are in tougher match ups and some of our auto fades are on the bye week we still have plenty of opportunity to move on to next week. Here are this week's top plays, pool breakers, and pool makers.

Week 10 NFL Survivor Pool Picks

USA TODAY Sports

Green Bay Packers vs Detroit Lions

If there was ever any doubt in taking the Green Bay Packers this season you can put all of it rest this weekend as they return home to Lambeau after suffering back to back road losses against the Broncos and Panthers. Green Bay comes into this one looking to make a statement to the rest of the NFC that they should still be considered a Super Bowl contender and with the Vikings hot on their heels they need this one to affirm their spot atop the NFC North. The Lions meanwhile are an atrocity and things don't get any better as there are now rumors swirling of Matt Stafford's departure and that type of speculation only means one thing: the 2015 Detroit Lions are in the dumps. Add in the fact this game is in Wisconsin and this game should be over after the coin toss... which knowing the Lions they'll probably lose that also.

Denver Broncos vs Kansas City Chiefs

The Chiefs are at an interesting cross roads as they are coming off their bye week which fell at the worst time for them as they were coming off their biggest win of the year, albeit against the Detroit Lions in England. Now, they return fresh but face off against a Broncos team who returns to Mile High after a loss in Indianapolis last week and will be looking to all but lock up the AFC West with a victory. Denver's defense got hit with a dose of reality against the Colts but against the Chiefs hapless offense without Jamaal Charles and a defense that hasn't looked great this season I think the Broncos rebound and leave no doubt in the process.

Pittsburgh Steelers vs Cleveland Browns

The Steelers are without Ben Roethlisberger in this one and that usually doesn't spell success for this team but as we saw last week they are more than capable of putting up big offensive numbers if you leave the ball in the hands of Antonio Brown and Deangelo Willams. Landry Jones isn't a suitable replacement for Big Ben but he isn't a sieve either and will be able to manage the game well against a Browns defense that has been dreadful this season. I am not huge on this game as it is a divisional game and the Browns can sometimes play spoiler but the Steelers can ill afford a loss like this as they're in the wild card race and at home I think they have enough in the tank to get it done.

Pool Breakers

New York Jets vs Buffalo Bills

It should come as no surprise to see this game on the list as it is a divisional show down with huge playoff implications at stake and it marks Rex Ryan's return to Met Life in what is going to be a very emotional and physical football game. Rex has already started throwing shade towards the Jets with his remarks (although seemingly harmless) about Ryan Fitzpatrick and his decision to name IK Enempkpali as a team captain after his controversial departure from the Jets earlier this season and with all things considered this is going to be a very wild game. Add in the fact it is a Thursday nighter and it has all the makings of being a field goal game and that is a red flag when dealing with survivor pools.

Baltimore Ravens vs Jacksonville Jaguars

This one may come as a bit of a surprise to be included on this list especially with the Ravens playing at home but they just aren't the same team we have seen in years past thanks to a handful of injuries. The Jags continue to be one of the league doormats but on a positive note they are finally starting to see some competent quarterback play out of Blake Bortles and the receiving corps is actually quite strong and against this Ravens secondary I think they could have a day. TJ Yeldon will continue to grow as the feature back and the defense isn't terrible and with the Ravens likely feeding Justin Forsett all day the Jags should be able to keep this one close.

Pool Makers

Oakland Raiders vs Minnesota Vikings

The Silver and Black return home after a tough loss last weekend in Pittsburgh but if there is any strength in moral victories the Raiders should be fine. Oakland has established one of the better passing attacks in football, balanced with a nice run game led by Latavius Murray, and a run defense that is thriving. The Vikings meanwhile are a quiet 6-2 and while they are in the playoff hunt in the NFC they have hardly looked complete on either side of the ball. Add in the fact that Teddy Bridgewater isn't healthy and the Vikes have to travel I think this is a great spot for Oakland to get back in the win column and continue their push towards the AFC playoffs.
