2015 NFL Season

Friday, Friday, Friday. Time for everyone to start placing bets for this weekend’s Week 11 match-ups. Because that went so well in Week 10. Just what we all expected to happen (I’m still not over the fact that the Lions won at Lambeau). My top five best bets of the weekend are featured below. Have at it.

Top Five Best Week 11 NFL Bets

1. Green Bay Packers at Minnesota Vikings (-1)

As much as I want Aaron Rodgers and Co. to get out of whatever funk they’re in, the Vikings have been playing great football and they clearly want to take the NFC North this year. Right now, their destiny is in their hands and I don’t see Adrian Peterson letting the Pack get a win in his house this weekend (especially with their 22nd ranked rush D). Look for it to be a close one, but I say the Vikings get the W.

2. Cincinnati Bengals at Arizona Cardinals (-5)

The Bengals are coming-off an extremely tough home loss and they’ve been flexed into prime time again this week. That’s not good news given Andy Dalton’s record on the national stage. Bruce Arians has his team fired-up and Carson Palmer should be raring to go against his former franchise. I expect the Cards to win it by at least a touchdown in front of their home crowd. After all, they have forced more false starts than Seattle’s infamous 12th Man over the past half decade.

3. Denver Broncos (+1) at Chicago Bears

The Broncos may be without Peyton Manning, but I have faith in Brock Osweiler’s arm and in CJ Anderson and Ronnie Hillman’s running abilities, even at Soldier Field. I think the Broncos take the W in this one. They should be especially fired-up with Aqib Talib back in the line-up after his brief suspension. It is worth noting that Jay Cutler had a career best passer rating (151.0) last week, but that wasn’t against the league’s No. 1 D. My lean is Denver.

4. Washington Redskins at Carolina Panthers (-7.5)

Despite the fact that Kirk Cousins has been playing solid football, I expect the Panthers to remain undefeated this weekend. For 20 games in a row, they’ve rushed for at least 100 yards and I don’t see Cam Newton and Jonathan Stewart slowing down anytime soon. I think the Panthers win it by 10 in front of their fans in Charlotte.

5. Buffalo Bills (+7) at New England Patriots

As I’ve said about 10,000 times this week, Rex Ryan and his club want absolutely nothing more than to beat Bill Belichick this season. They’ve got their chance this week at Gillette Stadium against a Julian Edelman-less Pats squad. I don’t know that they’ll win it, but will they keep it within a touchdown? I say heck yes.
