The Washington Redskins and Carolina Panthers play Sunday afternoon at Bank of America Stadium.

The Washington Redskins need a big road win in order to get back to a .500 record. Kirk Cousins is completing 67.9 percent of his passes for 2,278 yards, 14 touchdowns and nine interceptions. Cousins has eight touchdown passes in his last three games. Pierre Garcon and Jamison Crowder have combined for 832 receiving yards and four touchdowns while Jordan Reed has 41 receptions. The Washington Redskins ground game is averaging 104.8 yards per contest, and Alfred Morris leads the way with 404 yards on 110 carries. Defensively, Washington is allowing 23.2 points and 370.3 yards per game. Dashon Goldson leads the Redskins with 71 tackles, Chris Baker has four sacks and Bashaud Breeland has eight pass deflections. Andre Roberts and Keenan Robinson are questionable.

USA TODAY Sports

The Carolina Panthers look to remain unbeaten and inch closer to the top seed in the NFC. Cam Newton is completing 56.3 percent of his passes for 2,037 yards, 15 touchdowns and nine interceptions. Newton has six touchdown passes in his last three games. Greg Olsen and Ted Ginn Jr. have combined for 1,072 receiving yards and eight touchdowns while Corey Brown has 17 receptions. The Carolina Panthers ground game is averaging 139.7 yards per contest, and Jonathan Stewart leads the way with 662 yards and four touchdowns. Defensively, Carolina is allowing 19.4 points and 338 yards per game. Thomas Davis leads the Panthers with 65 tackles, Kawann Short has six sacks and Josh Norman has 14 pass deflections. Dwan Edwards and Andrew Norwell are questionable.

While the Redskins are far better than what the public thinks, I'm not confident with them going on the road and compeiting against what could be the best team in the NFL. The Panthers are flat out rolling right now.

Don't love the pick, but if forced to side here, I'll take Carolina by double digits.
