USA TODAY Sports

The San Francisco 49ers would love a home victory after losing six of their last eight games. Blaine Gabbert is completing 62.7 percent of his passes for 449 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions. Gabbert has 59 pass attempts in two games. Anquan Boldin and Torrey Smith have combined for 867 receiving yards and four touchdowns while Quinton Patton has 19 receptions. The San Francisco 49ers ground game is averaging 100.1 yards per contest, and Carlos Hyde leads the way with 470 yards and three touchdowns. Defensively, San Fran is allowing 25.2 points and 404 yards per game. NaVorro Bowman leads the 49ers with 97 tackles, Aaron Lynch has 6.5 sacks and Tramaine Brock has seven pass deflections. Carlos Hyde and Jerome Simpson are questionable.

I hate big chalk, but I can't take a banged up 49ers team against possibly the best team in the NFC. Arizona has one of the better offenses and defenses in the league. San Fran has played a lot of close games, but I don't trust a backup quarterback against this aggressive, ballhawking Arizona defense.

I'll take the Cards to win by double digits.
