Which NFL Games Should You Watch in Week 13?

2015 NFL Season

See the Latest Odds

As we head into Week 13 of the 2015 NFL season (try to hold back your tears), there are some great match-ups. This morning, we’re going to take a look at the top five games you shouldn’t miss this weekend.

Top Five NFL Week 13 Games to Watch

1. Green Bay Packers v. Detroit Lions (December 3 at 8:25 PM EST on NFLN)

This week’s Thursday Night Football contest at Ford Field is a big one for a surging Lions team (didn’t think I’d say that this year) and a faltering Pack. Aaron Rodgers and Co. should be out for blood after the Lions beat them at home for the first time since 1991, but Matt Stafford and his crew would love to sweep their division rivals this year. Should be a good one.

2. Indianapolis Colts v. Pittsburgh Steelers (December 6 at 8:30 PM EST on NBC)

This could turn into the battle of the back-ups, with Andrew Luck definitely sidelined and Ben Roethlisberger more-than-questionable with a concussion. Both teams are fighting for playoff spots and the Colts are on the warpath after last year’s blowout loss.

3. Seattle Seahawks v. Minnesota Vikings (December 6 at 1:00 PM EST on FOX)

After Russell Wilson kept the Seahawks’ playoff hopes alive last weekend, every win for them is critical. We’ll see how they compensate for the loss of Jimmy Graham at Minnesota’s facility this weekend. The Vikings, who are fighting for a first-round bye, ought to be ready and raring to go. Look for this to be a fun defensive battle to watch.

4. Arizona Cardinals v. St. Louis Rams (December 6 at 1:00 PM EST on FOX)

The Rams beat the Cardinals in Glendale earlier this season and if they can do it again in the Show Me State, they could help knock the Cards out of a first-round bye. While this game doesn’t seem all that exciting at first glance, it could have some major postseason implications. I expect Todd Gurley to be set to have himself a game come Sunday afternoon.

5. Houston Texans v. Buffalo Bills (December 6 at 1:00 PM EST on CBS)

This is another game with big postseason implications, with both the Texans and the Bills still in the hunt for a wildcard berth. Expect JJ Watt to be going after Tyrod Taylor with everything he’s got, so it’s pretty likely that LeSean McCoy will have a great day. I think the offensive staff will want to get the ball out of Taylor’s hands; fantasy owners take note.
