We’ve seen lots of free agency chatter and draft rankings over the past few days, and that will continue throughout the end of next month. In the meantime, let’s visit with some of the key headlines out there in our daily wrap-up.

The Raiders’ Latavius Murray got 266 carries last season for the Raiders, and that’s not going to happen again, according to team brass.
Raiders GM Reggie McKenzie addressed the RB position this week, alluding to the beating Murray took in 2015 and leaving sources close to the team believing that Oakland would go RB in the draft.
It’ll be interesting to see who the Raiders like in the incoming class of rookies. We’d imagine they’ll look that way within their first few picks.

Is Robert Griffin III going to Cleveland? It’s certainly looking that way, according to pundits.
The proverbial buzz around the league has Griffin eventually signing with the Browns, and a deal could possibly come to fruition as early as this week.
The Browns have said nothing but good things publicly about Griffin since his visit (and the team’s consequent character assessment). Griffin could immediately march into Cleveland and challenge for the No. 1 QB job, currently held by Josh McCown.

Josh Hill, the free agent TE who was coming off a visit with the Jets, went to Chicago to visit with the Bears yesterday.
Hill has played in three NFL seasons and has just 36 catches. Teams are intrigued here, however, due to his ability to block and his youth (he’s 25). Both the Jets and Bears are TE-needy. With the Bears, Hill would match up alongside an aging Zach Miller.

We’ve got an official update on suspended Browns WR Josh Gordon, and well, there’s really not much of an update to speak of.
The league said through a spokesman yesterday that Gordon’s reinstatement had no official timeline to be addressed, adding that this whole “60-day” case-review requirement that’s been making the rounds had no legal truth to it.
In Cleveland, they’re prepping for another season without Gordon, and if he somehow is able to play they’ll view it as an unexpected present.
