The Calgary Stampeders look for another win after a weird 2-1-1 start to the season. Bo Levi Mitchell is completing 66.2 percent of his passes for 1,220 yards, eight touchdowns and two interceptions. Mitchell has seven touchdowns in his last three games. Marquay McDaniel and Joe West have combined for more than 400 receiving yards and three touchdowns while Anthony Parker has 17 receptions. The Calgary Stampeders ground game is averaging 93 yards per contest, and Jerome Messam leads the way with 250 yards and one touchdown. Defensively, Calgary is allowing 21.5 points and 403 yards per game. Tommie Campbell leads the Stampeders with 25 tackles, Charleston Hughes has three sacks and Joe Burnett has one interception.
The Calgary Stampeders lost by just two points to the BC Lions on the road in their season opener. Take away that victory and the Lions other two wins have come against two teams with a combined 4-5 record. So, while BC is in better form overall and has had an extra week to prepare, you have to like the Stampeders and the small line at home.
Stampeders for the win and cover.
