The Tennessee Titans and Miami Dolphins end their preseason Thursday night at the Hard Rock Stadium.
The Tennessee Titans are off to a solid 2-1 preseason start after beating the Oakland Raiders. In the 27-14 victory, Marcus Mariota led the way with 170 passing yards on nine completions. Matt Cassel is sure to get majority of the reps in this game with the starters not playing. Andre Johnson and Tajae Sharpe combined for 125 receiving yards on four catches while Alex Ellis had two receptions. The Tennessee Titans ground game averaged 4.1 yards per carry and Derrick Henry led the charge with 49 yards and one touchdown. Defensively, Curtis Grant led the Titans with four tackles, Jurrell Casey had one sack and Cody Riggs had one pass deflection.

The Miami Dolphins also look to finish strong after a 2-1 preseason record. In a 17-6 victory over the Atlanta Falcons, Ryan Tannehill led the way with 155 passing yards and one interception. Backup Matt Moore is likely going to get the bulk of the reps with the starters out. Kenny Stills and Jarvis Landry combined for 86 receiving yards on eight catches while Griff Whalen had two receptions. The Miami Dolphins ground game averaged 2.5 yards per carry and Tannehill led the charge with 22 yards on two carries. Defensively, Mike Hull led the Dolphins with nine tackles, Julius Warmsley had one sack and Byron Maxwell had one pass deflection.
The Titans are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 road games and 15-34-5 ATS in their last 54 games on grass. The Dolphins are 2-9 ATS in their last 11 home games and 5-16 ATS in their last 21 games overall. The road team is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 meetings.
The Dolphins have won their preseason games with the backup units coming in and playing very well. So, a full game of those same backups should be good for the home team. Not sure how anyone feels positive with a full game of Cassel and others. I'll take the home team and reasonable line.
