The Indianapolis Colts look to get back in the win column as they return home from London to take on the Chicago Bears on Sunday.
The Bears head into Lucas Oil Stadium looking to build on their home win last week against the slumping Detroit Lions and they will be out for more in this one as they catch a Colts side coming off a loss against the Jags and traveling across the pond on their way home. The Bears continue to lose big pieces to their roster and now Kevin White joins the infirmary as he was placed on the injured reserve which leaves the Bears offense in disarray, especially with Alshon Jeffery hobbling on one leg. Chicago’s defense has also taken a hit and could be in for a long day against Andrew Luck and TY Hilton but if the Colts offensive line can’t keep Luck upright and the Bears defense can generate some pressure than this game could come down to the wire.

The Colts dropped another divisional show down at Wembley Stadium last weekend this time to the previously winless Jacksonville Jaguars and now they face a crossroads in their season as they host a Bears side that is undermanned but is coming off a victory. Indianapolis was expected to compete for a playoff spot in the AFC and at the very least challenge the Texans for the AFC South crown but so far they have looked very modest and teams are continuing to move the ball on them at will. However, the Indy defense is starting to get healthy and if Vontae Davis can step up and keep a hobble Jeffery intact the Colts are going to be in good shape here at home in a game they need to win.
The Bears are 4-0 ATS in their last four games in October, 1-4 ATS in their last five games overall, and 2-5 ATS in their last seven on turf while the Colts are 4-0 ATS in their last four games in week five, 22-7 ATS in their last 29 against a team with a losing record, and 26-11-1 ATS in their last 38 home games. I am weary of Indy coming back from the UK and starting sluggish but the Bears will have trouble keeping pace with Luck and the Indy offense and I think the Colts get a late cover.
