Cleveland Browns vs. Dallas Cowboys - 11/6/16 NFL Pick, Odds, and Prediction

USA TODAY Sports

The Cleveland Browns are desperate for a victory that would snap a rough 11-game losing streak. The Cleveland Browns have won six home games since the 2014 NFL season. Josh McCown is completing 54.9 percent of his passes for 601 yards, four touchdowns and four interceptions. McCown has two or more touchdown passes in seven of his last nine games. Terrelle Pryor Sr. and Gary Barnidge have combined for 935 receiving yards and three touchdowns while Duke Johnson Jr. has 34 receptions. The Cleveland Browns ground game is averaging 114 yards per contest, and Isaiah Crowell leads the way with 542 yards and five touchdowns. Defensively, Cleveland is allowing 29.8 points and 421.5 yards per game. Christian Kirksey leads the Cleveland Browns with 72 tackles, Emmanuel Ogbah has three sacks and Jamar Taylor has two interceptions.

The Cowboys are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 road games and 6-0 ATS in their last 6 games overall. The Browns are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 home games and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The over is 6-1 in Browns last 7 games overall and the under is 7-1 in Cowboys last 8 road games.

This is a lot of points to lay on the road in an NFL game, especially with the Cowboys fresh off a Sunday night overtime game that likely has Dallas a little banged up. However, the Browns are easily the worst team in the NFL and they're just 2-6 ATS this season as well. Also, the Cowboys have covered every game during their six-game winning streak and have shown they're capable of playing extremely well on the road. Sometimes you just have to ride the hot hand and kind of ignore the number by going with the trends. The Dallas Cowboys are a covering machine this season and the Browns are awful. Give me Dallas in a blowout.
