Tennessee Titans at Dallas Cowboys

The Line: Dallas -3

The Dallas Cowboys get a chance to show off their brand new stadium on national TV in a prime time game. Unfortunately for Cowboy fans, I think the stadium is going to far outshine the team this year.

last year Dallas choked away their playoff chances and their answer was to get rid of their best player, Terrell Owens. While Owens doesn't always have the best way with words, maybe there was some truth to what he was talking about.

The Cowboys first units had mixed results. I thought their offense was fine as was shown by Tony Romo's first quarter TD pass to Jason Witten, but I thought the defense was suspect as the Oakland Raiders drove the field on the Cowboy first unit before settling for a chip shot field goal.

I thought the Cowboy defense would be where the teams leadership would come from this year but obviously we saw more than just a few question marks from that unit. We'll probably get some more answers this week.

Tennessee enters their third Preseason game after winning their first two. The fact is that Tennessee is a deep team with plenty of weapons both offensively and defensively and should be a contender to go a long way this year.

The Titans defense didn't seem to be missing Albert Haynesworth and look to be a hard hitting, solid tackling unit that is typical of a Jeff Fisher team. While Romo is mobile in the pocket, we may not see too much of him in this one as it ma just be too much of a risk against this unit.

I don't see Dallas effectively moving the ball in this one and more than likely the COwboys are in for one physocal beating. I think we have the wrong team favored and I look for the Titans to dominate and win this one easily outright.
