The Line: Toronto Maple Leafs +119 / Los Angeles Kings -131 --- Over/Under: 5 See the Latest Odds

TV:

The Kings look for their second win in 24 hours as they head from Montreal to Toronto after wallpapering the Canadiens and they’ll look to do the same against the shorthanded Maple Leafs.

Los Angeles had won three games in a row and had just a single regulation loss in their last 10 contests heading into Montreal last night and as we expected the Kings absolutely dominated the Habs to the tune of a 6-0 final. The Kings are a spectacular team and while the Habs had been playing just as well they are very undersized and it is clear they were no match for a Kings team who has so much two way depth and a roster that can score with the best of them. People thought that LA would sink after losing Jonathan Quick to the injured reserve but they haven’t skipped a beat as Ben Scrivens and Martin Jones have filled in very nicely with the latter recording the shutout last night in Montreal. Los Angeles has no time to relish in their win though as they head to the ACC tonight to face the Leafs who will be without Dion Phaneuf as he was suspended for two games earlier this week but they will welcome back former players in the form of Scrivens and Matt Frattin.

The Leafs have been in a whirlwind of late as they continue to battle the injury bug and a constant barrage of shots thrown at their goaltenders, neither of which is ideal in any circumstance let along against a team like LA. Toronto as mentioned will be without Phaneuf but will also be without Dave Bolland and Tyler Bozak who continue to nurse injuries and will have to rely heavily on the likes of David Clarkson and Nazem Kadri to throw their weight around against a very strong Kings team. While the Leafs net minding has been very solid I don’t like this spot one bit for Toronto as they’re the weaker team, will be without their leading defenseman, and have two former players who were cast away for current goaltender Jonathan Bernier and I think it is the visitors who get the best of their former team tonight.

Los Angeles Kings -131
