The Columbus Blue Jackets host the Florida Panthers at Nationwide Arena on Saturday evening.
Toronto rode a streak of five consecutive goals to erase a 2-0 deficit on the way to a 6-3 rout of Florida to record win number eight in ten contests. The offensive explosion saw James van Riemsdyk, Cody Franson, Mason Raymond, Nikolai Kulemin, Tyler Bozak and Joffrey Lupul each score while Jonathan Bernier turned away 35 shots to get the win. Florida has been in a funk as losers in three of four with Sean Bergenheim, Nick Bjugstad and Dmitry Kulikov each finding the back of the net in a losing effort. Scott Clemmensen was tagged for all six Leafs tallis on 32 shots as he couldn't protect a 2-0 first period lead.

Columbus had been one of the hottest teams in hockey with a club record eight consecutive victories that was immediately followed with three straight defeats. The danger was the Blue Jackets were going to give back everything they had won before they punished Washington on Thursday by a 5-2 count. The key is following up this performance with a few more just like it to get the ship pointed in the right direction. Ryan Johansen was the offensive star a pair of tallies with Cam Atkinson, Brandon Dubinsky and Derek MacKenzie joining him in the scoring column. Sergei Bobrovsky faced plenty of rubber but stood tall with 30 saves to post the victory.
I don't know if Columbus is poised to go on another hot streak or not but I think they might be the choice here given the way everybody contributed in the win over Washington. Having said that I wouldn't lay the juice on them either unless that doesn't bother you...
