The Ottawa Senators take the ice with the Vancouver Canucks at the BC Place in Sunday afternoon action.
Ottawa struggled at both ends of the ice as they fell to visiting Detroit 6-1 on Thursday Night. The Red Wings came out with guns ablazing with a four goal first period blitz essentially ending this from a competitive viewpoint. Bobby Ryan was the only positive for the Senators offense with a second period tally while Johan Franzen posted a hat trick for Detroit while the Wings aldo received goals from Tomas Tater, Riley Sheahan and Tomas Jurco. Jonas Gustavsson recorded 37 stops for the win with Robin Lehner received the hook in the second after allowing all six goals on just 15 shots.
