The Ottawa Senators conclude a four game road swing with a stop to face the Winnipeg Jets on Saturday.
Ottawa needs points and need them now but didn't find any in Calgary on Wednesday with the Flames skating away with a 4-1 victory. Calgary was in command from start to finish with a 4-0 lead before Kyle Turris got the visitors on the board halfway through the final frame. Craig Anderson posted 24 stops for the Flames who have dropped four of five and finish off a four game road trip with the Jets Saturday. Joni Ortio stopped 30 shots for his first career victory with Paul Byron, Joe Colborne, Mike Cammalleri and Markus Granlund each finding the back of the net.

History could not stop red hot Los Angeles from winning Thursday in a place that hasn't been kind to them. The Kings have generally struggled in Winnipeg but it wasn't anything that a few goals and rock solid goaltending couldn't overcome. The Kings downed the Jets 3-1 for win number six in a row behind a 17 save performance from Jonathan Quick with Dustin Brown, Mike Richards and Alec Martinez scoring for the visitors. Olli Jokinen notched his 15th tally of the season which gave the home team a shortlived 1-0 lead while Ondrej Pavelec was peppered with 41 shots in what could easily been a 5-1, 6-1 final if not for him.
Ottawa is 4-1 in their last five visits to Winnipeg and 4-1 in their last five matchups overall with the Jets while the over has gone 6-2 in the last eight in Winnipeg. My initial thought was Ottawa with their success in this matchup but they are not playing well. I'll look deeper in to this once goalies have been confirmed so please check back...
