The Edmonton Oilers travel to the Scottrade Center to take the ice with the St Louis Blues.

Edmonton looked dead in the water when they faced a 3-1 deficit on the road versus a solid Minnesota squad before rallied late and won it 4-3 in a shootout. Taylor Hall tallied the game winner in round four of the SO with Jordan Eberle, David Perron and Jeff Petry scoring in regulation to make Viktor Fasth's 28 saves a winning performance while giving the Oilers wins in three of four. Jason Pominville, Zach Parise and Jared Spurgeon lit the lamp for the Wild with Darcy Kuemper stopping 23 shots in the loss.

St. Louis Blues vs. Edmonton Oilers Pick-Odds-Prediction - 3/13/14

Perry Nelson-USA TODAY Sports

St Louis looks to get back in the win column following a 3-2 overtime loss on home ice to the emotional Stars who suffered the loss of Rich Peverley who collapsed on the bench the previous night in Columbus. Jamie Benn was the offensive hero when he beat Ryan Miller at the 3:42 mark of the extra session. Colton Sceviour and Antoine Roussel also scored for Dallas with Tim Thomas picking up the win with a 28 stop effort. Roman Polak and Alex Pietrangelo found the back of the net for the Blues while newcomer Ryan Miller recorded 27 saves in the defeat.

Edmonton is 1-6 in the last seven trips to St Louis and 3-13 in the last 16 meetings overall. The trends favor the Blues but the Oilers are on a little bit of a run so I'll look at this further while goalies are confirmed...
