The Philadelphia Flyers look to take down the St Louis Blues at the Wells Fargo Center.
St Louis proved they are mortal as they were dominated 4-0 at Chicago on Wednesday. It was just their second defeat in eleven outings and their first in the division this year which dropped them 20-1-2 against division foes. Ryan Miller absorbed the loss with all four goals allowed on 27 shots. Marcus Kruger, Andrew Shaw, Duncan Keith and Ben Smith found the back of the net for the Blackhawks with Corey Crawford stopped all 23 shots he faced for his second shutout of the season.

Surging Philadelphia played well at both ends of the ice in their 4-2 decision versus visiting Dallas on Thursday. The Flyers won for the seventh time in nine times out with Wayne Simmons leading the charge with a pair of goals with Michael Raffl and Mark Streit also finding the back of the net. Steve Mason was solid between the pipes with 33 stop in a winning performance. Jamie Benn scored both Stars goals with Tim Thomas charged with four goals on 29 shots as Dallas suffered defeat number four in a row.
Not really much going in the way of trends with these teams not facing one another often. The Flyers are hot and the Blues are hot as well but coming in off one of their poorest efforts of the year. This is a game to watch as opposed to betting but I'll take the Blues and as a Flyers fan hope St Louis gets killed...
