The Winnipeg Jets will be on the road when they tangle with the Dallas Stars at American Airlines Center.
A dominant second period was all the Hurricanes needed in a 3-2 road victory at Winnipeg on Saturday. Jim Slater gave the Jets a 1-0 lead in the second but three straight goals gave Carolina enough offense to get the win. Cam Ward picked up the win with a 33 save performance while Al Montoya was saddled with the defeat with 29 stops as the Jets dropped eight of ten.
