The Columbus Blue Jackets visit the Wells Fargo Center to tangle with the Philadelphia Flyers.
Columbus is fighting for their postseason lives and lost an opportunity to pick up a valuable two points in a 3-2 overtime loss to visiting Colorado on Tuesday. The Blue Jackets took a 2-0 lead in to the third only to watch the Avalanche tie it and win in the extra session on Gabriel Landeskog's marker. Landeskog also tied the game with just under five minutes remaining in regulation with Brett Malone adding the other Avs tally while Semyon Valamov recorded 24 stops in the victory. The Blue Jackets received goals from Cam Atkinson and Blake Comeau with Sergei Bobrovsky posting 25 stops.

The Flyers have always given St Louis problems and that trend continued Tuesday although giving a team fits doesn't always translate in to winning. Philadelphia and the Blues locked horns in a defensive struggle that was decided in a shootout with the home team escaping with a 1-0 decision. Kevin Shattenkirk and TJ Oshie lit the lamp in the SO while Vincent LeCavalier and Claude Giroux were denied for the visitors. Ryan Miller recorded 33 stops including the shootout while Ray Emery posted 28 saves for the Flyers who are 1-2-2 in their last five contests and are three points behind the Rangers for second in the Metropolitan.
The home team is 8-0 in the last eight meetings with Columbus going 0-5 in the last five visits to Philadelphia while over is 4-0 in the last four. Both teams could use the two points but I lean Philly until goalie confirmation...
