The Toronto Maple Leafs take the ice with the Tampa Bay Lightning at the Tampa Bay Times Forum.
The Maple Leafs postseason drive was put on hold as they absorbed a 4-2 defeat to visiting Winnipeg on Saturday. Toronto scored twice in the opening period with Nazem Kadri and Phil Kessel lighting the lamp but it was all downhill from there with James Reimer allowing all four goals on 41 shots. Winnipeg received goals from Tobias Enstrom, Jacob Trouba, Bryan Little and Olli Jokinen with Ondrej Pavelec picking up the win with a 23 stop effort. The Maple Leafs trail Columbus by three points by three points for the second Wild Card after the Blue Jackets defeated the Islanders Sunday.

The Stars bolstered their playoff spot and Tampa Bay saw a chance to move up go by the wayside in a 5-2 home loss Saturday. The Lightning trail Montreal by two points for second in the Atlantic Division while Dallas and Phoenix are in a tug of war for the second Wild Card in the Western Conference after winning six of eight. Andrej Sustr and Steven Stamkos lit the lamp for Tampa Bay while Ben Bishop struggled with just 23 stops to take the defeat as the Lightning dropped their third in four contests. Jamie Benn led Dallas with a pair of goals with Tyler Seguin, Vernon Fiddler and Antoine Roussel also finding the back of the net while Kari Lehtonen brushed aside 27 shots.
The home team is 5-2 in the last seven meetings with Toronto going 7-3 against Tampa Bay overall while the under has gone 5-2-1 in the past eight at Tampa Bay. As always I'm waiting for confirmation of goalies and will keep looking at this in the meantime...
